Our partner farm is located in the cold, pristine waters of Morro Bay, located along the beautiful central California coast, managed and operated by Grassy Bar Oyster Co., who have been farming oysters there since 2009.

OUR OYSTER’S JOURNEY

Oyster “seed” are produced in Holdfast’s hatchery in San Pedro before entering nursery systems in Morro Bay and eventually onto oyster lines until they're ready to harvest. These are the only oysters produced entirely in Southern-Central California and help enhance the marine ecosystem as they grow!
